The use of the existing telephone network infrastructure to offer high speed data services evolved from work within Bellcore in the United States in the second half of the 1980's, when ISDN was first developed. Back then, it was possible to support a total of 128 kbit/s to a subscriber within a reasonable distance from the local telephone exchange. How technology has developed. Digital Subscriber Line technology today reliably delivers over 100 times more bandwidth over the same copper pair infrastructure, and will continue to increase as new developments progress. The DZhoN team has worked in development roles for leading edge DSL equipment manufacturers, as well as driven the deployment of some of the largest DSL networks in the world today. DZhoN also has a detailed knowledge of operational processes and automation systems which are critical to successful deployment of this technology on a large scale. Access to copper telephone infrastructure is available in most countries for both incumbent and competitive service providers alike, and maximising the use of this infrastructure is something DSL excels in. DZhoN helps our clients achieve maximum results. |
